Rooke Construction designed this office room to be tucked away in the garden, hidden by trees, for a peaceful space to retreat to or get work done. This building features Cladco fibre cement lap cladding in slate and Signature solid composite decking in charcoal alongside a furry friend! With the addition of exterior wall lights, this garden room makes for a cosy escape.

Rooke Construction opted for fibre cement wall cladding to provide a weather and water-resistant exterior for the office. They have installed symmetric external corner trims to the cladding for a seamless finish and to prevent damage to the boards. These corner trims are available in various colours to match Cladco fibre cement lap cladding boards.

Cladco Signature composite decking boards were chosen as a durable and low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber decking. Another factor is that Cladco decking boards are made from 100% recycled materials consisting of recycled hardwood fibres* and high-grade recycled plastics.

Cladco Signature composite fascia boards have been installed to complete this project. This customer has used fascia boards to cover up joists sitting under the decking, as well as preventing debris, animals and insects from entering the area.
