OVERVIEW
Dorplan worked on the development of a new ambulance healthcare centre for the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) in Ipswich.
The facility serves as a key hub for ambulance teams, providing a base for vehicles and staff who are on standby to assist the public where needed. The project required robust, high-quality internal timber doors to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of a modern healthcare environment.
Dorplan successfully supplied and delivered 82 internal timber doors, complete with high-quality ironmongery. The package included both single and double FD30–FD60 fire-rated doorsets, incorporating fob access systems for enhanced security and convenience.
Project Outcome:
The project was completed successfully, with very positive feedback from the client. Both the site manager and project manager expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the doors and overall service. The customer was so pleased with the finished product that they invited Dorplan to visit the completed site to see the installation first-hand.
