Crown Paints bring bespoke luxury to Blackpool Apartments

A traditional hotel in Blackpool has been transformed into nine bespoke luxury holiday apartments to provide guests with modern and stylish accommodation.

Located by the Fylde Coast, Swish Holiday Apartments combine comfort and style, offering visitors a home away from home.

Thoughtfully designed by owner Tom Sumner to enhance the unique character of each space, the transformation commenced in 2023, and the project was completed last year.

To ensure the longevity of the paintwork, Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt was used on the apartment’s interior walls and ceilings. It’s a durable, stain-resistant emulsion that can withstand regular cleaning without compromising its rich colour saturation making it the perfect choice for future-proofing the interior.

Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt can also be tinted to a variety of colours, which enabled Tom to curate his own palette. This included rich shades of blue, black, and grey in The Grandstand and The Highroller suites, while softer lilac and mint tones were chosen to add elegance to The Royal Enclosure and The Regal rooms, with the overall feel of the palette aligning to the apartment’s sophisticated design.

To support colour selection, Crown Paints offers a range of resources, including a fan deck that organises shades into colour families for easy reference and PurePaint samples – A5 pre-painted swatches that help assess colours in different settings and lighting conditions. In addition, expert guidance is available to assist with creating effective colour schemes for various sectors and environments.
