Bailey Lodge Care Home

Dorplan supplied over 250 internal timber doorsets for Bailey Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, a new 70-bed care home due to open in Spring 2026.

Designed to support comfortable day-to-day living, Bailey Lodge includes shared spaces such as an on-site café, cinema room, and hair and beauty salon, creating a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

All internal doorsets were manufactured specifically for use in a care setting, balancing safety, durability, and ease of use in a busy assisted living environment.

Dorplan’s fire doorsets are independently third-party accredited through recognised certification schemes such as BM TRADA Q-Mark and Certifire, providing reassurance that essential safety and performance standards are met.

The doorsets were primed in Dorplan’s in-house spray shop, before being finished on site in the charming green tones seen within the imagery.
