The institute's new home houses offices, laboratories, clean rooms, workshops, a library, a daycare center and even a nine-meter-high balloon hall. 

Due to the heavy technology in the balloon hall, the bonded screed was required to have a guaranteed quality of CT-C50-F6. With RETANOL® XTREME, the company Bodentechnik Funk from Lohmen not only exceeded all expectations in terms of early strength, quick readiness for covering and final strength: the installed RETANOL® XTREME even achieved CT-C50-F8 and surface adhesion measurements showed values ​​of 3.4–4.2 N/ mm².
