OVERVIEW
Le Losserand is a former disused EDF energy distribution company dating from 1929 and converted into a business hotel for small and medium-sized companies.
The particularity of this project is based on the entirely autonomous production of energy resources for the operation of the building thanks to the use of photovoltaic cell glazing (not supplied by Pilkington).
Here, we find the fire protection glass of the Pilkington range used in 2 forms of application according to the fire regulations:
The double glass floor;
On the terrace, there are 8 skylights of 3.80 x 2.70 m. Inside, a first 1-hour fire floor (EI) with Pilkington glazing Pyrostop® 60-401 with solar control glass (Pilkington Suncool™ 70/40) which guarantees good light transmission as well as sun protection (since applied to the roof) for the comfort of users. The latter are lined with photovoltaic cell floors outside. Implementation according to TEI Minutes by BS VISION.
Elevator doors:
Elevator doors are equipped with Pilkington glass Pyrodur® 30-200 14 mm according to the minutes of the RUGET Group.
