Walraven Phenolic Pipe Supports chosen for London Olympia redevelopment

OVERVIEW

The £1.3 billion redevelopment of London Olympia is a major transformation project revitalizing the historic exhibition centre into a state-of-the-art cultural, entertainment, and business district.

As part of the redevelopment, Laing O'Rourke are managing the construction of a new state of the art energy centre that provides heating for the whole development and cooling for the exhibition areas.

The complex and expansive pipework system across the site requires a very large number of phenolic insulation blocks and clamps to ensure a thermally efficient installation.

Walraven is supplying over 55,000 phenolic blocks and clamps to this project for pipe sizes ranging from 15mm up to 76mm.

WalravenPhenolic and 2S pipe clamps were chosen by the contractor as a cost-effective and highly thermally efficient solution for insulated pipe supports.
