OVERVIEW
The Historical Archive of Cologne safeguards valuable documents and is now one of Europe’s most modern and durable city archives. After its 2009 collapse, the archive was rebuilt near the Rhine, seamlessly blending into Cologne’s green belt. Designed by Waechter + Waechter Architects, the new location offers scenic views and a natural setting.
