Market Gate Bridge, Barnsley

Market Gate Bridge is a striking pedestrian footbridge located in the heart of Barnsley town centre, South Yorkshire, UK. 

Part of Barnsley’s wider regeneration initiative and a key pedestrian thoroughfare, the bridge was designed as a prominent civic landmark. A largely glass structure was chosen to complement the nearby Glass Works shopping complex.

A 3kN frameless glass balustrade system, supplied by BM Architectural, plays a crucial role in achieving the bridge's elegant aesthetic.
