OVERVIEW
Working for Hitachi Rail, Lionweld Kennedy supplied open mesh flooring, handrails, stairs and removeable chains to 3 number 250 meter long inspection walkways and 18 number 27 meter long access platforms.
Making use of our safegrid and saferails, Lionweld Kennedy provided Stoke Gifford Rail Depot with safe and efficient platforms for inspection.
The site is part of a wider £5.7 billion development on the Great Western (GWR) and East Coast Mainlines. For the next 17 years at least, it will serve as a crucial maintenance facility for Hitachi Rail Europe’s service delivery operations.
