St Peter's Square, Manchester. Point Loaded Stainless Steel Tree Grilles

ASF were asked to manufacture tree grilles in the design of the ASF 3000 in stainless steel, but with structural design and calculation attached that met an 8 ton point loading, so that the grilles would be suitable for drive over by 15t+ street cleaners. ASF worked with site and our own structural engineers to produce grilles that met and exceeded the required standards.

The top 'face' of the grille bars were also castellated to increase grip on the surface of the grilles.

The grilles also hosted large uplighters that also allowed for an 8t point loading

The grilles were manufactured in grade 316 stainless steel to these standards and finished passivate dipped, offering a stable finished patina that will last for many years
