Clair Ridge Oil Field

Lionweld Kennedy designed, fabricated and supplied the modular flat packed steel and GRP grating and stair treads to the 'Clair Ridge Oil Filed' for Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Using both steel and GRP, we created an efficient solution for their flooring. Both materials thrive in harsh environments, which is why Lionweld Kennedy supplied an range of our products to cut down on costs, while maintaining high strength.

Clair Ridge is the second phase of development of the Clair field which, with an estimated eight billion barrels of oil in place, is the largest undeveloped hydrocarbon resource on

the UKCS.

The £4.5bn investment involves two new bridge-linked platforms.
