Illa Diagonal

OVERVIEW

Illa Diagonal has renewed its interior with a multilayer ceiling system based on the CombiLine platform, creating more than 3,000 m² of continuous suspended surface that links the different buildings of the complex. Solid ayous wood slats add warmth and depth, while the system adapts precisely to height variations to maintain a seamless visual flow.

Designed by Battleiroig Arquitectura and installed by Tefals, the ceiling guides circulation and softens transitions between zones. CombiLine’s versatility, long-span panels and easy access to the plenum make it ideal for dynamic public spaces, resulting in a coherent environment where materiality and technology work together.
