Application

The Stormguard aluminium coping system is widely used to provide weather protection and a finished architectural detail to exposed wall heads.

A primary application is to parapet walls, where the coping directs rainwater away from the wall face and prevents water ingress into the wall structure, significantly reducing the risk of long-term moisture-related damage.

The system can also be installed to the tops of wall cladding systems, forming a protective termination detail while safeguarding the underlying construction and enhancing the overall façade finish.

Description

Stormguard Aluminium Wall Coping is a mechanically fixed coping system designed to provide a durable, weather-resistant finish to parapet walls and exposed wall heads. The system protects the wall structure from water ingress and long-term weathering while delivering a clean architectural roof edge detail.

Manufactured from high-quality aluminium, the coping offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in external environments. Profiles are available in standard and bespoke dimensions to suit varying wall widths and project requirements.

The system incorporates concealed fixing brackets to provide secure mechanical restraint while maintaining a smooth, uninterrupted external appearance. Thermal movement is accommodated through correctly spaced fixing centres and expansion detailing in accordance with manufacturer guidance.

  • Suitable for use on commercial, industrial and residential developments.

Supplied in a range of PPC finishes (RAL colours available) to meet architectural design requirements.
