Designed for applications requiring dependable security and reliable operational performance, the trackless bi-folding speed gate is specified for use across utilities and distribution environments, as well as commercial, residential, and government sites including banks, embassies, warehouses, airports, schools, and universities, where automated bi-folding speed gates form part of the perimeter access control strategy.

Description

The trackless bi-folding speed gate features an integrated drive mechanism that controls the smooth, rapid opening and closing of the bi-folding gate. The system synchronises both gate leaves to deliver controlled, reliable operation without the need for a bottom or top track. This trackless design eliminates height restrictions and removes the requirement for large road-mounted tracks, providing an efficient access control solution.

Standard finish for mild steel fabrication:

  • Pre-treatment: blast cleaned SA2.5 - primer: Interpon PZ790 (or equivalent) - topcoat: Interpon D1036 powder-coat (or equivalent).
  • Minimum application: 80 micron.
  • Suitability: Environments up to and including C4 – ‘Industrial areas and coastal areas with moderate salinity’.
  • Design Life Expectancy: 15 years - For decorative appearance is given up to C3 12 years. Over that, life expectancy relates to corrosion protection only.
  • For C5 classification environments or enhanced protection, please contact us to discuss metallisation (hot zinc) or hot dip galvanizing alternatives.
