Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior High Gloss is part three of a three-part weather-resistant and quick-drying paint system for exterior trim and woodwork.

Water-based formation with excellent flow and levelling for a smooth high gloss finish. Developed to give exterior woodwork extensive protection for up to eight years. It offers great flexibility to accommodate the natural movement of wood that occurs over time. It contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth within the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer, reducing maintenance cycles.

Proven to be as durable as a solvent based equivalent.

Execution

SYSTEMS INFORMATION STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Prime all bare wood with 2 coats of Weathershield Preservative Primer (to be used on softwood only) followed by 2 coats of the appropriate coloured Weathershield Quick Dry Flexible Undercoat. Finish with 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior High Gloss. Where a special process colour is to be used or a strong colour change is required, additional coats may be needed (see appropriate Dulux Trade colour card). Allow a minimum of 4 hours before overcoating Weathershield Quick Dry Flexible Undercoat. Allow a minimum of 4 hours before applying a second coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior High Gloss. When using darker colours, the final appearance will be visible once dry. The paint will look lighter when applied and while still wet
