Our national network of Lignum joinery manufacturers makes it easier to specify and procure high-performance, timber windows and doors for replacement, new-build and heritage projects, whilst achieving Building Regulation requirements.

Tested, certified, and specification-ready

Lignum is a fully engineered timber window and door system, independently tested to achieve the latest Building Regulation certifications, including PAS 24, EN 14351 and Document Q and Approved Documents. The Lignum system achieves Secured by Design approval.

A national manufacturing network

Lignum products are manufactured through a UK-wide network of 50 independent specialist joinery manufacturers, each trained, supported, and audited to produce to the same system standards of craftsmanship. This national model provides scalability, dependable supply and consistent quality.

Precision manufacturing

All Lignum products are manufactured using Leitz precision tooling, delivering highly accurate machining for a sanding-free surface finish that ensures consistent high frame tolerances to improve air, wind and rain tightness. This process also reduces material waste during manufacture.

Durability, low maintenance, and responsible sourcing

Lignum frames are engineered to shed water effectively and prevent moisture traps, reducing the risk of premature degradation. Factory-applied coating systems, developed by our partners Teknos and Remmers, are specified to extend maintenance cycles, simplify repair, and support long-term appearance retention.

Timber is sourced through established suppliers, including James Latham and Accoya Wood, ensuring material stability and responsible supply.
