RainScreen Duo Slab is a BBA-approved insulation product, that in addition to thermal comfort, provides an independently-tested acoustic benefit.

Non-combustible Euroclass A1.
Independently tested to reduce airborne noise transfer (up to Rw 62 dB).
Water-repellent yet breathable, reducing condensation risk.
Stone wool is dimensionally stable and will provide the same performance for more than 55 years after installation.

Acoustic performance:

The airborne sound reduction of several typical rainscreen build-ups incorporating RainScreen Duo Slab was tested at the Sound Research Laboratories (SRL), with results of up to Rw 62 dB.
