All panel types can be coupled together with windows to create unbroken facades.

Features and benefits for each panel type can be found below. Please note the Ventilated Enamel Panels, Ventilated Aluminium Panels, Shadowbox Enamel Panels, Louvre Panels and Rainscreen Panels all meet or exceed A2-s1, d0.

The Aluminium Sandwich Panels, and Cedar Panels do not meet A2-s1, d0 and as such are not suitable for use on buildings over 18 m in height.

Ventilated panels - Features and benefits:

Consists of a VELFAC 200 frame and sash, which contains a non-vision panel board or opaque toughened glass externally, and a 9 mm plaster panel internally. There is free ventilation between the two panels.
The ventilated panel can be supplied with or without a separate internal backboard with vapour barrier, which can be specified with a veneer or paint finish.

Look-alike panels / Shadow-box - Features and benefits:

Can be supplied where a glass look-alike panel is required.
Consists of a VELFAC 200 frame and sash, which contains a clear or solar glass on the front of the double-glazed unit, and enamel glass at the back.
The shadow-box can be supplied with or without a separate internal backboard with vapour barrier, which can be specified with a veneer or paint finish.

Non-ventilated panels - Features and benefits:

Especially suitable to create facades with a distinct colour and texture.
Consists of a VELFAC 200 frame and sash, which contains a Cedar or Rockpanel. The construction consists of either a Rockpanel or a diffusion-open, waterproof plywood panel, cladded with Western Redwood Cedar slats which are glued and invisibly screwed to the plywood. Western Redwood Cedar is supplied untreated and naturally weathers over a period of time.
The panel is supplied with a separate internal backboard with vapour barrier, which can be specified with a veneer or paint finish.

Sandwich panels - Features and benefits:

Consists of a VELFAC 200 frame and sash, which contains a panel board formed by two aluminium or laminated board faces, bonded to a rigid insulation core.
Sandwich panels can also be used to fill the lower sections of doors.

Louvre panels - Features and benefits:

Especially suitable to allow ventilation to enter a room or space, such as computer server room.
Consists of a VELFAC 200 frame and sash, which contains a louvre. The VELFAC louvre panel can be specified in three different ways:

without any internal boarding to allow permanent, open ventilation
with a single piece of fibre cement board to allow machining for mechanical ventilation or ducting
with a single piece of fibre cement board and a separate internal backboard with vapour barrier, which can be supplied with a veneer or paint finish. This allows the fitting of insulation and machining for mechanical ventilation or ducting

Rainscreen panels - Features and benefits:

Each panel comprises a fully formed aluminium sheet mounted onto a VELFAC 200 frame.
The rainscreen panel has the same outer dimension as the wood frame.
