ITP UltraBlock is a range of thermo-reflective air and vapour control layers (AVCLs) incorporating encapsulated aluminium foil to maximize energy efficiency. The reflective foil surface improves the insulation characteristics of the installation, reflecting heat back into the building.

Air & vapour control layers (AVCLs) ensure that the building envelope is properly sealed to control ventilation and prevent heat loss in compliance with Building Regulations Part L. Installed on the warm side of insulation AVCLs prevent moisture within the building's warm air from reaching the insulation therefore protecting insulates from interstitial condensation.

ITP UltraBlock membranes contribute to both BS 9250 for the airtightness in ‘a well-sealed ceiling’ and BS 5250 aiding the control of condensation within a roof space.
