Modular medical IT systems are built in 6, 12, and 18-way monitoring and distribution cabinets. There are two system options, including the incorporation of ATICS® automatic changeover devices and EDS151 fault location technology or the standard option of an isoMED427 insulation monitoring device and EDS151.

Bender advises the adoption of ATICS® for increased resilience and to eliminate a single point of failure. ATICS® can be incorporated into a medical IT system without taking up additional space, and in the event of primary power supply loss, ATICS® switches over automatically in 0.5 seconds to the secondary supply, maintaining power to the critical medical sockets.

The modular medical IT system is a two-part solution to optimise a small footprint, comprising a standard panel size with the installed technology and a transformer housing which can accommodate all transformer sizes depending on project requirements.

This off-the-shelf, readily available solution can be supplied as a floor-standing or wall-mount solution. Modular medical IT systems are supplied with a standard 12-month warranty, that can be extended to a five-year warranty on Bender parts when added to a Bender service agreement upon installation.
