FlameOUT® Block Premium is a polyethylene-based vapour control layer with a mono-filament reinforcement scrim to provide excellent tensile strength in wall and roof insulations. This vapour control layer is independently tested to British and international flame retardant standards.

When used within wall and roof installations FlameOUT® Block Premium prevents moisture within the building's warm air from reaching the insulation layer and forming interstitial condensation.

FlameOUT® Block Premium contributes to both BS 9250 for the airtightness in ‘a well-sealed ceiling’ and BS 5250 aiding the control of condensation within a roof space.

Can be used in conjunction with FlameOUT® Breathe Euroclass B-s1,d0 breather membrane which is installed on the cold side of the building envelope.
