We design our product range to help you move towards zero energy construction, whether you are building a house from scratch or fitting out a new wetroom. We are experts in the manufacture of building systems, insulation, packaging and other special products made from extruded (XPS) polystyrene, produced for the construction and other industries.

Products

Our core products include, tilebacker (construction) XPS boards, XPS shower trays (point & linear drains) for wetrooms, XPS bath panels, XPS shower seating & XPS niches. All are reinforced with our reinforcement mesh & cementitious coating, which achieves a weight loading of 100kg/m2. We complement our systems with a range of stainless steel drain covers, horizontal & vertical drains all under the JACKOBOARD brand.

Group

JACKOBOARD® is one of several brands within the BEWI Group. As true manufacturers of insulation and waterproof foam products, our knowledge spans across all XPS, EPS & Polystyrene products. This group knowledge allows us to provide detailed understanding across many areas within the project. These include, waterproofing, plumbing, tiling & under floor insulation, to steam rooms & ICF systems. We operate at the leading edge of product design by understanding building standards.

We also have BBA's on both our shower tray and construction board systems. In addition to the above, being a true foam manufacture allows us to provide value engineered product price points, as we we look to create the next generation of building materials. We also offer uncoated XPS sheets for both electric & water underfloor heating systems.

The JACKOBOARD® XPS range offers many extra benefits over tradition building materials & we believe that this full 360 view point is the reason to why we are now the market leader in XPS based products. These are supplied through our national distribution network within many route to market sectors.

Tanking

JACKOBOARD® is completely waterproof. This is down to the closed celled construction which means that there is no physical way water can penetrate the XPS core. This provides more security to the construction over paint on liquid membranes.
