The Duplex 120SP is a high-performance access panel designed to meet the highest standards of fire safety in addition to impressive insulation, smoke resistance and acoustic properties. This riser door is tested and certified to ensure fire resistance for two hours from both sides of the door (Wall use) against BS EN1634-1: 2014+A1: 2018

For speed of installation and to help minimise fitting costs the door is fitted with spring pin hinges. This allows removeal of the door without any tools. The 75 mm depth allows deeper fixing points, ensuring stability when installed with twin skin plasterboard walls.

Locking/ security:

For enhanced security, the riser door is equipped with a three-point locking system, complemented by a metal "T" budget lock key with a white flip-tab plastic bung. Further security is available with the addition of either a tamper-proof insert or Euro cylinder key lock configurations (budget lock remains installed). Also fire tested with London Fire Brigade FB2 locks up to a size of 1200 x 1000mm.

Size information:

When specifying the size of your wall opening, subtract 10 mm. The access panel is custom-made to fit into the opening, with the outer frame extending an additional 25 mm on each side.

Frame options:

Picture frame or simulated beaded frame.

Smoke tested, Insulated (U-Value 0.78 W/m²K). Tested to provide 36dB acoustic reduction.
