Superglass Superwhite 42 is a glass mineral wool blown loft insulation with a water repellent additive to enhance it resistance to moisture. Installed by professional insulation contractors to a minimum density of 14.5 kg/m³.

Thermal conductivity:

Declared thermal conductivity (lambda (λ) value) of 0.042W/mK.

Fire classification:

Deemed non-combustible with a fire classification of Euroclass A1 (the highest possible rating) when tested to BS EN 13501-1:2018 Reaction to Fire.

Installation:

Most mineral wool blowing machines can be used to install Superwhite 42 under the supervision of a professional company.

Settlement class:

Superglass Superwhite 42 has undergone settlement testing in accordance with BS EN 14064-1: 2010 and given a settlement class of S1.

Vapour resistivity:

The product has a nominal vapour resistivity of 5 MN·s/g·m.

Indoor Air Comfort

The product complies with Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold specification, version 9.0 (2023). These include both inspections of factory production and VOC emissions testing according to EN 16516. Certificate number: IACG-451-01-02-2025.
