Armourcoat SMG is a natural lime and marble polished plaster with an ultra smooth surface that gives a seamless, high gloss lacquer effect. It is a superfine, highly reflective finish with little or no surface movement.

The lime plaster is water vapour-permeable and as such is suitable for traditional plastered masonry, including historic buildings.

It comes with Eco Wax (or black wax for deep tones) applied as standard for increased protection against soiling. For breathable water repellency, specify with Armoursil Impregnator + Aquawax.

It is also available to be used as a system with Armourcoat® AntiCrack reinforced gypsum skim coat. Please see specification data for more details.

Suitable for use with Armourcoat Anticrack, a reinforced gypsum skim-coat plaster which resists cracking at board joints and significantly improves impact resistance and durability of plasterboard construction. AntiCrack is a preparatory product that removes the need to use a gypsum skimcoat or tape and joint unprepared plasterboard walls.
