Protect your building against wind driven rain, a common source of moisture affecting buildings in the UK

Damage from the build up of moisture results in mould, mildew and condensation on windows and in the loft space. Additionally, where there is a moisture problem in the wall cavity, damage readily occurs to the insulation and wall ties, affecting wall plates, the timber frame itself and installed joinery. Preventing this from occuring is obviously a priority in the minds of all designers and builders interested in quality construction. SureCav Provides the Solution. By building with the SureCav panels instead of a using a block leaf you are providing a barrier to protect from wind driven rain.

Piatto paving brings granite look to Deaconess House

Brett Landscaping

Deaconess House, a former hospital, dates back to 1894 and the new development retains the frontage of the original building, with a modern construction to the rear. Given the building’s proximity to Holyrood Park, the planning conditions specified the use of indigenous stone for all paving on the project from within 20 miles of the site. However, when the contractor researched the options it was recognised that this was impractical and that Brett Landscaping's Piatto range would provide an equally effective solution to the project’s needs.
