For this installation, the spigots are placed below eye-level when you’re on the balcony but can be seen from other angles around the property. The SPIG-LITEadvanced is easier to install and transport to and from any site. The lightweight and compact product can fit into smaller vans to fit through those country winding lanes. For our installers, there are many advantages to this product; the easy installation, adjustment, product weight and outstanding test results. SPIG-LITEadvanced can be spaced 500mm apart, enabling just 2 spigots per 1000mm piece of glass. The UK Atomic Energy Authority’s (UKAEA)’s new facility will provide additional capacity for the STEP research programme at the campus in Culham, Oxfordshire as scientists seek to demonstrate the ability to generate net energy from fusion.Planet’s western contracting team offered their services in the creation of the site’s meeting room and office facilities across all four floors of the building.For meeting and conference rooms requiring high acoustic privacy, our double glazed and frameless PURE100 partition system (Rw 47 dB) was coupled with IsoPro pivoting glazed doors. Some doors were finished with eye-catching UKAEA branded manifestation.Elevated half-height partition screens surrounding breakout areas comprised single glazed PURE20 (Rw 35 dB).Finally, Firestop Ei30 single glazed fire rated screens (Rw 39 dB) were installed to create a fire line on each floor between the building’s offices and the internal atrium.

Planet Partitioning used p20 single glazed demounatble partitioning with a smoked laminate glass finish on optiwhite glass, then combined this carefully with low-iron glass to give the client the exact colour wanted. The requirement covered two floors and some of the partitioning formed a balustrade for the edge between them. Eclipse sliding doors ensured a highly premium, clean-like look and feel. Several doors were patch-hinged to address key deflection head requirements. As part of the package we also created a membrane ceiling across a recess area within the showroom, enhancing key illumination areas by softening the light.

Billed as the 'UK's happiest office' this 91,000 sq ft building is home to the telephone answering service; Moneypenny. Planet won the project after impressing AEW Architects with stylish and cost effective products. FireStop doors were installed to compliment the earthy tones and playful 'outdoors' theme of the office design. For the meeting rooms and office partitioning, Planet's p20 slimline glass partitioning was used along with full height glass swing doors to maximise the light and airy feel of the the office and atrium areas.

Ahmarra manufactured Q-Mark certified FD30 fire doorsets for Octavia House School, an independent specialist therapeutic school in Great Baddow, Essex. Selected from our Education Range, the pre-hung doorsets were manufactured from sustainably sourced FSC® certified timber and supplied with fully compatible ironmongery. The client chose colourful Formica F6901 Vibrant Green, F8820 Leaf Green, F4177 Lime and F8755 Lemon high pressure laminate facings, in line with the Octavia brand’s colour scheme.

Bilco UK has supplied an innovative replacement roof hatch for a medieval church in Norfolk. St Mary’s is one of the 653 churches within the Diocese of Norwich. When it came to providing a means of safe access to the roof area a product was required that was both technically and architecturally suitable. Medieval Masonry Ltd, a specialist contractor in the restoration and conservation of historic buildings with over 50 years of experience in the industry, installed Bilco UK’s S-50VMTB VersaMount® Replacement Roof Hatch.

HAG was proud to work with The National Trust to secure ‘Hafod Eyri’, the amazing £8.4m visitor centre atop Snowdon - the highest peak in England and Wales. HAG’s bespoke security products were designed not just to protect against intrusion, but also from extreme elements – wind speeds up to 150mph and temperatures as low as -20oC. A particular difficulty to overcome was securing the iconic ‘Window on the World’ offering views of England, Ireland, Scotland and Isle of Man. However, our design and manufacture expertise enabled us to supply adapted Armourguard products to fit the brief even at 3500ft!

Facing the necessity of establishing a functional serving window for seamless paperwork exchange with drivers, our client sought to upgrade from their standard UPVC residential-style window. Recognising the limitations of the existing setup, we proposed a tailored solution to meet their specific operational needs.In response, we engineered a robust commercial-grade aluminium horizontal sliding window, meticulously designed to streamline the paperwork exchange process. This innovative window system allowed for effortless sliding, enabling staff to quickly and efficiently pass documents to drivers with ease. Unlike traditional push-out UPVC windows, which were ill-suited for regular use in such contexts, our solution featured enhanced locking mechanisms and draft sealing, ensuring optimal security and insulation. By prioritising durability, functionalist, and user convenience, we provided our client with a vastly improved window solution perfectly tailored to their operational requirements.

This seafront-facing cafe sought to enhance its customer experience by incorporating a serving window section, enabling them to serve ice creams and slushies during the summer months, as well as offering late-night out-of-hours service year-round. However, ensuring the security of the staff within the premises remained a top priority.To address these needs, our proposal centered on the installation of a bi-parting window system. This solution not only optimised the available opening space but also effectively safeguarded the interior during non-operational hours with its comprehensive locking mechanism. By seamlessly integrating functionality with security, we provided the cafe with a versatile solution that met their operational requirements without compromising on safety.

State of the art changing rooms supplied with Fully Framed Cubicles, Wet area Lockers and Cubicles. A mix of Helmsman System 2000 lockers and Glass Lockers situated together totally compliment each other with walnut formica and luscious lime coloured glass doors. These were supplied along with matching vanity shelving and GRP bench seating. The colouring of the Glass shower cubicles and glass toilet cubicles was carefully chosen in a clear interlayer and clear panel glass to bring the overall look of the changing rooms together. This project oozes luxury and quality on all fronts.

This home is situated on the grounds of an old quarry, with views over the valley towards an engine house. The customers wanted to be able to enjoy their view to the maximum and using glass balustrade provides a safe and solid railing. This home is highlighted throughout with copper oxide furnishings, the front door and elements of the kitchen follow this theme while the sink splash back is made from glass petals in a beautiful glass meadow scene. The balcony glass was the last outside job to be done, having to wait for the kitchen counter to be installed through the French doors it was safer to install the glass after this had been carried over the balcony. Now that winter is coming the indoor jobs can be finished off and the home owners can enjoy their newly renovated home! This installer has used POSIglaze base-fix in black. Balcony Seal® has also been used to ensure water can run off the balcony under the channel without causing water ingress. Most balconies and flat roofs are built with a slight pitch to encourage rainwater to drain towards the edge of the roof. In these cases, the balustrade installer needs to allow for drainage points under the channel, to avoid water pooling around the edge of it. The Balcony Seal® system works by subtly raising the channel a few millimeters above the substrate on drain blocks. Notches on the top side of the drain blocks locate into the rebates of the POSIglaze channel, locking it into position before the system is bolt-fixed to the substrate through each block.

A chapel was first built at Swan Hill in the town of Shrewsbury in 1767. In 1868, this was demolished and replaced with the current building; schoolrooms were then added in 1880. Charters Property Ltd who specialise in property development, consultancy and project management, recently purchased the deconsecrated church and have transformed the building into a prestigious development of four fabulous homes.Sensitivity was key when renovating the property and the majority of the original features have been preserved. Original stone walls, lintels and cills have been repaired and impeccably replaced. The walls and roofs have been insulated and energy saving measures implemented to create a comfortable, efficient living environment.Although it was possible to restore some of the original fenestration, double glazed replacement steel windows were still required throughout the building. Clement were thrilled to manufacture these new steel windows and doors. Various Clement ranges were used to meet the different criteria required for the project. For example, the Brooking range was used for the beautiful arched head windows on the front elevation as it would best replicate the originals which would have been silicone fronted. EB16 was used for other windows where silicone fronting was not required and W20 was used to make the steel doors. In total over thirty individual windows were specified, all in various shapes and sizes.Clement Conservation Rooflights were also specified, which bring masses of light in through the beautiful, high ceilings.James Charters, Director of Charters Property said “We were very pleased with the attention to detail and finish of the steel windows, Clement took ownership of their section of the project and were able to deliver a complex scheme on time and to a very good standard. Accessible for every visitorThe landmark £78 million Darwin Centre is the most significant development at the Natural History Museum since it moved to South Kensington in 1881. With over four and a half million visitors passing through its doors every year, choosing the right door products was crucial if this popular tourist attraction was going to stand the test of time.dormakaba’s contribution to the projectdormakaba TS 92, TS 93, and ITS 96 cam-action door closers were specified due to their low opening forces in accordance with BS8300 and their aesthetical design, which is in keeping with the overall style of the Darwin Centre. The TS 92 and TS 93 cam-action closers have been installed with the electro-magnetic hold-open feature and have been designed to remain open, closing automatically if the fire alarm is triggered. Offering the illusion of an invisible closer, the ITS 96 is a concealed cam-action closer hidden within the door leaf and frame, complementing the overall modern and sleek design of the new centre.As part of the brief, a wall of glass was to surround the technology and displays within the Darwin Centre, only accessible by staff through glass doors. Due to the small diameter between the wall and the glass door, specialists in glass interior products, Harbrine, overcame this by using dormakaba’s EA pinch free patch fitting which allowed safe access with a clear view of the museum display.dormakaba BTS 75V and BTS 80 floor springs also feature at the redevelopment. These floor springs feature a hydraulically controlled closing cycle, adjustable closing speed and mechanical backcheck.Also installed is dormakaba’s ED 200 – an automatic swing door operator that offers an optimum solution for safety in high traffic areas. During an emergency, fire doors and exit doors must continue to open for people to exit, but close firmly to prevent the fire or smoke spreading. The ED 200 is particularly appropriate for internal fire door applications and has been successfully third party fire tested to EN 1634-1 on timber doors. Its unique package of safety, security and interfacing features means that when a fire alarm is actuated, or when the power is cut, the closer will revert from automatic to manual operation with a hydraulically dampened spring close action.

The high-quality health and fitness changing facilities were fitted with leisure glass lockers in the form of our leisure lockers in one compartment, two-compartment and three compartments fitted with 10mm glass-silk blue doors. We also supplied cubicles, bench seating, IPS which complemented the area. The wet side changing and dry sports changing areas were supplied with leisure lockers. Locker doors were selected from the Formica range in a mix of violet, heather and grey, red, yellow and oak, leaf green, lime and grey and tropical blue, blue and grey.

78/92 Great Portland Street consists of a group of mixed period buildings which is under redevelopment by Great Portland Estates to provide 23,000 sq ft of residential flats, 11,000 sq ft of retail units and 18,000 sq ft of offices at a cost of £19million. Lang+Fulton installed 45.3 linear metres of louvred panels 1100mm high with 3 access doors, galvanized and ppc RAL7038. The louvred panels were inverted to provide maximum visual screening from ground level.

In transforming the reception area of a modern and thriving school, we were tasked with ensuring the security of reception staff while also facilitating the seamless interactions with visitors and managing deliveries effectively.To address this multifaceted requirement, we proposed the implementation of our heavy duty bi-parting serving hatch window system. This innovative solution offered maximum security, allowing reception staff to lock the window as needed to maintain control over access. However, it also featured a unique bi-parting action; when one window was manually pushed open, the adjacent window would simultaneously open, maximising the available opening space. This design not only enhanced security but also facilitated smooth and efficient service for visitors, enabling reception staff to manage interactions with ease while maintaining a secure environment.By combining functionality with security, our solution provided the school with a versatile and adaptable reception area that could accommodate a wide range of needs, from everyday visitor interactions to handling deliveries, all while prioritising the safety and security of reception staff.

CBRE wanted to replace their existing automatic doors at the front and rear of their newly refurbished building with stylish doors which are safe, reliable and ensured effortless pedestrian flow. Two record K41 stainless steel four-leaf revolving doors constructed from glass to provide a modern, minimalistic look were installed. A stainless steel swing door complete with a record DFA 127 operator has also been installed next to revolving door at the main entrance to provide a wider opening for disabled access and deliveries of large, bulky items to the premises.

Due to its completely concealed sliding system, EKU Porta Glass itself meets the highest demands in terms of design and technology and allows for a highly valuable and creative room division.

EKU Porta Glass – The visual impact and outstanding quality of the all-glass sliding door solution highlights the aesthetics of the Vienna Twin Towers designed by Massimiliano Fuksas. The tallest building showcases the business park Wienerberg. The Massimiliano Fuksas designed Twin Towers impress with their transparent construction of steel and glass and fulfil even the highest demands of visual appeal. The visual impact continues inside the building. For international media company MediaCom, Vienna architect Karl Langer created a flexible, open concept and transparent office space to meet the company’s innovative, dynamic and future focused approach using EKU Porta Glass.

Glassfields is a new high-spec office development which forms the gateway to Bristol’s Temple Quarter. The completed building offers the perfect environment for how businesses work today.With 93,000 square feet of high-quality office space, it has been designed with the tenants’ well-being in mind and provides a flexible, adaptive, and creative space. The design of the interior called for an industrial look which made Lusso 25 Geometric glazed partitioning system, with its black powder coated frames and banded look, the ideal choice. High acoustic Silenzio doors and Lusso 25 frameless single glazed system, also powder coated in black, were used to complement the design. The overall look provides a stunning, dramatic, and classy environment in which to attract and retain talent.The building has achieved BREEAM Excellent accreditation and an EPC rating A, embracing industry best practice, energy efficiency measures and sustainable technology.

We worked with the architectural team at Sparcstudio to deliver unique contemporary washrooms and changing areas for the Reebok Sports Club. We installed our highly engineered Marcato toilet cubicles, featuring a flush front and rebated finish, ensuring division panels and doors meet edge to edge for maximum privacy, in the washroom areas. Manufactured from solid grade laminate, the cubicles feature wood veneer doors complemented by yellow partitions. The same wood veneer was used for the Concerto integrated duct panelling system and urinal modesty panels. Our Luminoso glass shower cubicles were manufactured with a green coloured layer beneath the toughened glass.

Situated in the leafy borough of Ealing, Filmworks is a striking Art Deco style development. Emulating design details from the 1930s, the bathrooms resonate beautifully within the apartments Roaring Twenties inspired interiors. Majestic were invited to supply Rio and Monaco screens from The Frameless Portfolio.

The Rooflight Co collaborated with Hogarth Architects in designing rooflights to compliment the construction of a new Kensington mews property. Here the brief was to achieve a completely minimal frameless internal appearance, with low U-Values, and at the same time meet the planning requirement for a rooflight that would sit flush within the slate roof.

Modern, light, open, inviting – this is the new look of the office rooms at Warren Wixen Real Estate in Los Angeles. The same applies to the solution developed by architects HLW International LLP in cooperation with Pulp Studio. Glass from floor to ceiling – not only a functionally convincing approach but also a concept with a high degree of aesthetic appeal. Pulp Studio's recommendation of using the Interzum award-winning HAWA Puro 100–150 hardware for all-glass sliding doors defined the perfect solution. Concealed suspension made it possible to achieve the ideal of "glass from floor to ceiling".

Storm Model Management is renowned for finding, developing and managing careers for some of the world's top modelling talent. In the heart of the London office, on a polished concrete floor, Planet Partitioning created a striking stadium meeting room using p20 curved glass at both ends and linear joints between the partitioning to ensure a crystal clear, flawless, flush finish. By curving the partitioning channels carefully and then manufacturing and engineering the glass to fit, Planet achieved an excellent curved glass partitioning effect. Eclipse sliding doors were used for the lobby area, ensuring a seamless look throughout the space.
