Application

Suitable for office, kitchen and clinical (HTM71) environments.

Description

A range of high pressure laminate worktops supplied in finishes to complement shelving, cabinets and HTM standards. Standard and HTM71 profile worktops available along with cantilever support legs, chrome legs, aluminium end caps and cable outlets.

All worktops used in the clinical environment must have all surfaces fully sealed for cleaning requirements. There are four main worktop materials used: High Pressure Laminate (HPL) faced board, Compact Grade laminate (e.g. FortisQuor, Trespa), Solid Grade Laminate (e.g. Corian, Hanex) and Stainless Steel. Sealed Wooden worktops are not recommended due to the surface being absorbent when the lacquer seal breaks down.

Features and benefits:

  • HPL worktops - Inexpensive, extensive colour range options, easy to install and can incorporate a moulded rear upstand.
  • Post forming is limited to parallel edges and joints and edges can become vulnerable to moisture ingress with HPL worktops - other worktop types have better qualities but are more expensive.
