Application

Complete channel system suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, but particularly suited for C1-C4 environments due to the advanced corrosion protection offered by the BUP 1000 finish.

Description

Walraven RapidStrut® Channel (BUP 1000) is a complete strut channel system for medium loads. It is ideal for use indoors, outdoors or in corrosive environemnts because it has the Walraven BUP 1000 finish.

What is the BUP 1000 finish?

The BUP1000 finish is our standard alternative to Hot Dip Galv (HDG) channel. This unique finish was developed to offer a better corrosion resistance than HDG.

Whilst HDG channel will last up to 600hrs salt spray test, Walraven’s BUP 1000 channel withstands a salt spray test of at least 1000 hours. This makes Walraven RapidStrut® (BUP 1000) suitable for C1-C4 environments.

It is also tested and proven to be unlikely to result in zinc whisker growth in data centres.

The RapidStrut Channel System integrates with an extensive choice of pre-assembled accessories that save installation time including channel connectors and Hammerfix slide nuts.
