The LWSA Acoustic Floor System is a lightweight alternative to heavy concrete jack-up floating floors, which allows the system to be installed on floors with low levels of structural load capacity.
The LWSA acoustic floor is well suited to free weight areas of gyms which need protection from heavy weights being dropped from height, studio and functional areas where impacts and group activities can cause structural noise, as well as below banks of treadmills in commercial gyms.
TVS (LWSA) Lightweight Shock Absorbing Floor Systems are designed as a lightweight alternative to heavy concrete jack-up floors, which allows the LWSA floor system to be installed on floors that couldn’t support the weight of a typical concrete jack-up floor. The LWSA Floor System is modular and allows the offsite manufactured panels to be assembled quickly, vastly reducing the installation time compared to a wet poured concrete jack-up acoustic floor.
Clients and their acoustic consultants benefit from the ability to have a number of panels supplied and assembled on site by TVS engineers to allow their acoustic tests to be conducted. This gives the acoustic consultant and client confidence in the acoustic attenuation performance physically measured on site, something that can’t be done with a wet poured jack-up floor option.
