Description

High performance, macro fibre reinforced ready-mix concrete.

Features and benefits:

  • Specifically designed to replace ‘A’ grade crack control steel fabric (ranging from A142–A393). Replacing the steel fabric and maintaining the equivalent crack control performance is achieved by incorporating high strength, high modulus macro synthetic fibres into the concrete matrix.
  • The fibres are uniformly distributed throughout the concrete, ensuring cracks are restrained from propagating.
  • Provides improved post-crack toughness - achieving a flexural strength in excess of 30%.
  • Cohesive consistency, with a dense micro-structure.
  • High early and improved ultimate strength, low permeability and increased durability to a variety of conditions including weathering, abrasion and freeze/ thaw attack.
  • Can be lightly trafficked after 24 hours.
  • Allows very little bleed water to migrate to the surface.
  • Easy to pump.
  • Faster build time, which leads to reduced labour costs.
  • Eliminates the need for stockpiling steel mesh on-site.
  • Low water/ cement ratio.
  • One pass finishing (if a power floated finish is not required).
