A single component hybrid polymer putty replacement specifically designed for bedding in any type of glazing unit indoors or outdoors.
Application
A single component hybrid polymer putty replacement:
- For bedding in any type of glazing unit indoors or outdoors.
- Used in renovation contracts to restore listed buildings.
- For any type of glazing unit, new or repair.
- Suitable for most substrates.
- Suitable for use with butyl tapes and hot melt adhesives in double-glazed units.
- Forms part of the Timbabuild® Repair System
Description
Timbabuild® Timbaglaze Putty Replacement is an all-weather use multi-purpose glazing sealant.
Timbaglaze provides a permanent replacement for window putty but also an improved level of performance for renovation and maintenance within the Timbabuild® system.
Features and benefits:
- Can be applied to wet or damp surfaces.
- Paintable after one hour (skins over in 20 minutes).
- UV and weather-resistant.
- Free of hazardous chemicals, VOC A+.
- Fast cure, easy to apply.
- Excellent slump resistance - applied to vertical or overhead surfaces without flowing or sagging.
- Strongly resistant to yellowing.
- Adheres to a wide range of materials.
- High strength and durability.
- Paintable and stainable.
- No shrinkage - maintains a strong elastic bond.
- Does not cause corrosion on metals.
- Service life of minimum 10 years.
