Application

Suitable for low rise new build or refurbishments including non-traditional housing stock.

Description

The PRB Thermolook EMI EWI render system is an adhesively bonded, externally insulated, EPS, rendered facade system with supplementary mechanical fixings, available with a range of rendered and paint finishes for use on masonry and framed buildings up to 11 metres in height (dependent upon location, structure type and finishes specified).

Features and benefits:

  • BBA and ETA certified system for use without height restriction, protecting the external walls from weathering with a minimum 30-year life expectancy.
  • The EPS systems provide fire protection that is suitable for low rise buildings.
  • The insulation system can improve sound insulation.
  • Different wall constructions can be accommodated including brick, stone, concrete and lightweight blockwork, concrete panels, cast concrete, render boards, non traditional substrates comprising of reinforced concrete (cast in-situ), prefabricated reinforced concrete (PRC) and large panel systems (LPS), steel framed and steel clad structures and timber framed buildings.

Aluminium profiles: Standard gauge 0.8 mm and premium gauge 1.0 mm up to 120 mm wide and robust gauge 1.2 mm from 130 mm upwards. The base profile width will be determined by the insulation thickness.

  • Graphite enhanced and white EPS 70E in accordance with EN 13613.
  • 1200 x 600 mm square edged panels.
  • Thickness range from 20–300 mm in 10 mm increments.
  • For other thicknesses double up the insulation as necessary to complete the detailed design of the system.
  • Thermal conductivity: 0.031 W/Mk.
  • Minimum compressive strength: 70 kPa/m² at 1% compression.
  • Fire behaviour: Euroclass E.
