Mastic Asphalt Terrazzo Flooring.
Ideal for high-traffic areas including commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, retail projects and showrooms.
Mastic asphalt terrazzo combines the distinctive features of standard concrete terrazzo and the durability and performance of a mastic asphalt floor. It consists of a traditional mastic asphalt base with a modern finish. Slip and skid resistance can be incorporated into the wearing course and it is available in a number of grades.
The seamless decorative finish of a mastic asphalt terrazzo floor gives any area a distinctive retro-style and unique appeal of exposed aggregate. It is one of the most versatile flooring solutions in the marketplace with qualities that make it ideal for use in areas where a decorative, high end finish is required.
The modern finish of mastic asphalt terrazzo can be customised with varying colours and sizes of aggregates depending on your style preferences. Like Shields’ other mastic asphalt systems, it is quick to install. Thanks to its rapid curing times, the grinding (finishing) process can be carried out with no delays, making the product ideal for projects with tight programmes.
