Tactite Low Sheen Coating

Roller applied decorative coating system featuring a soft touch suede feel to interior walls. Manufactured by Armourcoat Ltd.

• Mould and mildew resistance to ASTM D 3273 & ASTM D 3274: 10/ 10/ 10.

• VOC tested to ASTM D3960: 67 g/L (US EPA requirement (<250 g/L).

• VOC tested to ISO 11890-2: <10 g/L (EU requirement for Cat A/l (300 g/L).

• Anti-fungal growth.

• Anti-algal growth.

• Anti-Bacterial - JIS Z 280. Tested against E Coli, MRSA, Salmonella.

• Stain resistance tested to ASTM D1308. Consult manufacturer information.

System:

- Substrate:

• Surface to be sound, clean and dry, free of loose material or organic growth.

• High gloss substrates to be abraded (if existing) or primed (if new).

• Porous substrates or filled areas to be primed with mist coat of BaseColor Satin, thinned up to 20% with water.

• General information is available for selection or preparation of substrates. Consultation with supplier is also recommended to ensure best results.

- Application:

Applicators approved by supplier. Generally used to mask adjacent finishes:

• Two coats BaseColor Satin. Allow four–eight hours before recoating.

• Two coats Tactite. Apply by roller according to manufacturer instructions. Allow four–eight hours before recoating.
