SURE-MELT® - Hot Melt System

Guidance for specification option:

• Polymer-modified bitumen compound is hot applied in two layers to provide a hardwearing, seamless waterproofing membrane with a thickness of minimum 6 mm and permanent adhesion to the substrate.
• Available in 14 kg blocks, packaged in dispersible film.

Guidance for specification option:

• High-strength polyester spun bond thermally-bonded fleece with a point-embossed surface.
• Point-embossed surface helps to provide increased friction between the layers of the membrane.
• Available in a 1 x 200 m length roll.

Guidance for specification option:

• High-performance, polymer modified bitumen, sand-faced protection sheet, available as a 2 kg and 4 kg membrane.
• The protection sheet is rolled into the SURE-MELT® bituminous liquid membrane enabling it to fully bond to the hot melt layer as the system cures. 

Guidance for specification option:

• High-performance, polymer modified bitumen, mineral-faced protection sheet, available in 2 kg and 4 kg membrane, which is installed using a torch over the cured hot melt layers.
• The underside of this protection sheet has a heat sensitive film which rapidly melts during the torch on installation.
• The film also prevents the roll from sticking together in storage.  

Guidance for specification option:

• Root-resistant 5 kg protection sheet containing a chemical root retardant and a polyester reinforcement carrier.
• Charcoal slate mineral finish that acts as an additional barrier to prevent root ingress.
• The chemical additive is specifically designed for SURE-MELT® bituminous waterproofing system, making it iSuitable for use under living roofs, podium gardens, and other landscaped areas.
