Stamisol A1® - Fire Rated Class A Non-combustible Breather Membrane W2 - Breather Membranes

STAMISOL A1® is suitable for all vertical closed wall applications.

Storage and handling:

• Handle the membrane with care.
• Ensure that the membrane is not folded or creased. Store the membrane horizontally away from sunlight in a cool, dry sheltered store.
• Store Glue cartridges upright.

Installation:

• A continuous, solid supporting structure or framework must be provided for all applications. The supporting structure can be wood, aluminium, steel or concrete.
• Stamisol A1® achieves a fire rating Euroclass A1 when free hanging or when directly installed on a supporting structure with a flame-retardant classification of A1 or A2.
• The white coated side faces to the outside.
• Vertical installation is advised.
• Do not glue the whole membrane surface. Create glue lines /gird lines maximum 800 mm vertical or 1200 mm horizontal centres.
• Patch any damaged areas using membrane cut into a circle shape so that the corners do not peel back. The circular patch should be 25 mm larger than the damaged area.

Overlaps:

• It is possible to fix the membrane mechanically with staples.
• Seal overlaps using Stamcoll Safe One Glue Cartridge 310mls.
• Vertical laps should be 50 mm minimum.
• Horizontal laps should be 50 mm minimum.
• Each cartridge covers approx 8 LM with a 8 mm bead.

Stamcoll Safe One Glue Cartridge 310mls is tested as a system with Stamisol A1® to EN 13501-1.

Store glue in a warm environment. Do not use below 5℃ or over 40℃.
