Multi purpose solid hardwood overlay sprung sports floor system.
A 22 mm thick multipurpose sports floor for use where badminton, hockey, volleyball, netball, basketball and five a side football are played. The system features 129 mm wide x 3700 mm long boards, manufactured from two rows of 623 mm long, graded, press dried beech staves, dovetail jointed together. The boards have precision machined tongued and grooved edges, which facilitate assembly and ensure square, secure joints. A moisture balancer is applied to the underside.
Boards are fitted together, in stagger pattern, using Junckers Steel Clips that fit into grooves machined in the back of the boards. The floor floats over a 10 mm performance foam underlay for maximum resilience. Designed for heavy wear and durability, the flooring can be laid directly over an existing flat and level subfloor or over an existing sound but substandard playing surface. Available factory finished and, if necessary, can be refinished using suitable cleaning agents and lacquers. Renovation by in-situ precision sanding and refinishing is also possible.
