Speedline Soffit Liner Building Board
Description

Insulated soffit liner board used to provide an insulated external lining to soffits and an internal lining for walls and ceilings, especially where robustness is required.

Manufactured from insulation slab bonded to fibre cement board, suitable for exposed and semi-exposed applications.

General:

  • Surface of facing and Lamella rock wool insulation comply with Class O of the Building Regulations.
  • Lamella rock wool insulation is incombustible to BS 476-4 and is rated Class 1 surface spread of flame to BS 476-7.

Fixing:

May be fixed directly to concrete or masonry using suitable steel fasteners; the fixings supplier should be contacted for advice prior to installation.

Product Options

Insulation:

  • Compression Resistant Rockfibre (CRR): High density acoustic grade resilient rock fibre insulation slab.
  • Expanded Polystyrene (EPS): Versatile expanded polystyrene for optimum value and light weight.
  • Extruded Polystyrene (XPS): Small, closed cell extruded polystyrene for optimum insulation, high compressive strength and resistance to moisture.
  • Lamella (LAM): Manufactured from high density rock wool slab, which is cut into blocks and rotated through 90° before being bonded to the plasterboard. Lamella rock wool is incombustible and is especially suitable for acoustic applications.
  • Polyurethane (PUR): Polyurethane foam has very low thermal conductivity and is particularly suitable for applications where space is at a premium.
