Sprayed and trowelled flat finish with attractive lightly pitted surface.
Acoustic plaster ideal for noise reverberation control in offices, homes, swimming pools, public places, classrooms, restaurants etc.
Please note that it is important not to use moisture resistant plasterboard as this can cause staining of wet applied products. Oil based stain barrier paints can be used to prevent this. Please consult Oscar Acoustics for more information.
A minimum of 12.5 mm thick plasterboard, installed to British Gypsum specification should be used.
Acoustic spray application by Oscar Acoustics trained in-house teams. Consult Oscar Acoustics for relevant acoustic plaster preparation details.
Sprayed and trowelled, flat acoustic plaster finish with an attractive, lightly pitted, seamless surface for noise reverberation control.
A flat, very lightly pitted surface coating. Naturally safe, recycled cellulose fibre, with low embodied energy. Can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste. Acoustic plaster can be applied directly onto plasterboard, smooth concrete, steel sheet and most other surfaces. Suitable for flat, domed and vaulted soffits.
An excellent alternative to acoustic panel ceilings without design compromise.
Features and benefits:
B-s1,d0 & Class 0 to BS476 - significantly betters the requirements of the new Approved Document B providing little to no smoke and absolutely no droplets, assisting in the safe escape of occupants.
90% of flangeless fittings do not work properly with any acoustic finish. If you are specifying a flangless fitting, please contact Oscar Acoustics for advice.
Acoustic testing has been carried out against concrete. Substrates likely to provide increased performance include plasterboard with the use of an air gap behind, rib deck or profiled metal sheet. Please contact Oscar Acoustics’ technical department for free design assistance.
