SMART Vero Steel – Stainless Steel Balustrade System

SMART Vero Steel is a fully modular stainless steel balustrade system designed for use across all applications including staircases, landings, balconies, terraces, ramps and internal walkways. The system combines contemporary aesthetics with robust structural performance, offering a range of post, handrail and infill options to suit commercial and residential environments.

Manufactured from high-quality Grade 304 or 316 stainless steel to BS EN 10088, available in brushed (320 grit) or mirror polished finish, the system provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Compatible infill types include toughened or toughened laminated glass, perforated metal panels, stainless steel rods or wire rope systems, allowing the balustrade to be tailored to the architectural intent of each project.

SMART Vero Steel is fully compliant with BS 6180, capable of achieving line loads of 0.74 kN/m or 1.5 kN/m depending on configuration. Multiple fixing options—including top-mounted base plates, 2 point side-mounted brackets and core-fixed posts—ensure the system can be integrated with concrete slabs, steel structures or timber substrates.

All components are pre-fabricated for consistent quality and rapid installation, providing a clean, modern appearance with smooth handrail transitions and minimal visual obstruction.
