Sealing (joints and penetrations) | Intumescent acoustic sealant. Guidance for specification option: Apply 6 mm continuous beads of Siniat Intumescent Acoustic Sealant around the perimeter of the framing or to the edge of outer layers of board, ensuring that all air-paths are sealed. All penetrations should use supporting constructions detailed in the Siniat Drywall Manual, in combination with appropriate fire-stopping products. For combined, warrantied performance specify Promat PROMASEAL fire-stopping products in accordance with PROMASEAL datasheets and guidance in this project pack. |
