Description
The Siniat Independent Wall Lining system is a fully dry, lightweight, lining system. It is completely separated from the underlying substrate.
Ideal for commercial projects where deep continuous cavities behind boards are needed to correct or isolate substrates and accommodate services.
- Particularly suited to substrates which may not be suitable for direct fixing, e.g. metal cladding and other modern methods of construction.

The system must be installed by a professional installer in accordance with: the Siniat Drywall Manual; this specification document; CAD drawings; advice; and all relevant and applicable construction standards and regulations. |

Guidance for specification option: Apply a 6 mm continuous bead of Siniat Intumescent Acoustic Sealant along the edges of the outer layers of plasterboard at all interfaces with the structural elements, ensuring the seal effectively eliminates air paths. All penetrations should use supporting constructions detailed in the Siniat Drywall Manual unless superseded by specific test information. For combined, warrantied performance specify FSi fire-stopping products. For cPVC pipe sealing use FSI PYROPRO(R) Sealant in place of Siniat Intumescent Acoustic Sealant. |
