Description

ShieldBOARD EPS is manufactured using expanded polystyrene, and is suitable for inverted roofs with a suitable fully supported waterproofing system. ShieldBOARD EPS is also available in a tapered profile to create falls in a warm roof scenario.


The product is highly durable, inert, non-toxic, rot proof and 100% recyclable product, the performance of EPS is expected to last at least the life time of the building. An EPS variant is available for warm roofs systems, please contact us for further information. EPS is HFC, CFC and HCFC free. EPS has a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than five. Life-cycle analyses demonstrate that EPS has exceptional qualities as a construction material. It has a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and achieves the highest possible A+ summary rating in the BRE Global Green Guide to Specification.
