Description

Automatic vertical fire-resistant curtain with 120 minutes integrity rating.

Invisible when not in use, the curtain is automatically activated in the event of a fire alarm or power failure. This ensures safety, without compromising on the aesthetics or design of the building. When lowered or deployed, the curtain divides up large open spaces to slow down the spread of fire, allowing a safe exit. Strong enough to contain a fire for up to two hours, whilst still allowing a route of escape - the bottom rail can be lifted enough to fit underneath if required.

Features and benefits:

  • Suitable for both face or reveal installations.
  • Helps to slow down the spread of fire.
  • The curtain includes tabs positioned at regular centres which extend beyond the curtain - these tabs restrain the curtain within the guide rails, without significantly increasing the coil size.
  • Hidden when not in use.
  • Includes gravity fail-safe.
  • Deploys in seconds.
  • Box section housing unit provides maintenance access.
  • Can be RAL or BS coated.
  • Manufactured in the UK.
  • Tested to BS EN 1634-1: 2008, and approved by Warrington Fire Assessment Reports 197830 and 199303, test report 195865.
  • 12-month guarantee.

Consult manufacturer for details of maintenance recommendations. Must be fixed to appropriate fire protected masonry or steel supporting constructions that have a fire resistance of at least the period required.
