Screedmaster Speed 30
Application

  • Can be laid over most common substrates including: Cementitious screeds, concrete floors, calcium sulfate screeds and other strong, rigid subfloors.
  • The product should only be used on subfloors protected from moisture from the ground and residual construction moisture. Do not use prior to applying surface damp-proofing membranes (DPM’s).
  • It is not recommended for use over old adhesive residues. Consult the manufacturer for the appropriate smoothing compound.

Description

A two-part, high strength, polymer modified, cementitious underlayment for smoothing uneven floors prior to laying decorative floor coverings.

It is suitable for use with warm water underfloor heating installations, provided a maximum surface temperature of 27°C is not exceeded. The heating must be switched off at least 48 hours before and after application. For radiant underfloor heating systems, consult the manufacturer for details.

Features and benefits:

  • Manufactured using Turbodry technology.
  • Loose lay in 45 minutes.
  • Protein-free, so may be used in biologically sensitive installations. It should always be covered with a floor covering.
  • Bonded floor coverings from 3 hours

Applications:

  • Can be laid over most common substrates including: Cementitious screeds, concrete floors, calcium sulfate screeds and other strong, rigid subfloors.
  • The product should only be used on subfloors protected from moisture from the ground and residual construction moisture. Do not use prior to applying surface damp-proofing membranes (DPM’s).
  • It is not recommended for use over old adhesive residues. Consult the manufacturer for the appropriate smoothing compound.

Priming:

In all cases the subfloor must be primed prior to application of the smoothing compound as below.

When priming the following substrates, it is recommended to use the following primer:

  • Absorbent substrates: Bostik Screedmaster Universal Primer (diluted 1:2 with water).
  • Dense/ non-absorbent substrates including epoxy membranes: Neat Bostik Screedmaster Universal.
  • Calcium sulfate screeds: Bostik Screedmaster Epoxy Primer (diluted 1:1 with water).
  • Applications in excess of 10 mm of smoothing compound: Bostik Screedmaster Epoxy Primer.
