Application
Suitable for use on flat roof slopes up to 10 degrees and should always be positioned at least 2 m from a fall hazard. Applications include:
- Preventing access to hazards during regular rooftop maintenance;
- Provide safe access across the roof.
Description
The D-marc™ demarcation system is a free-standing barrier system designed to delineate a safe route across a roof surface. The base is formed from recycled car tyres, the lattice shaped upright is stainless steel (grade 304) and is powder coated a distinctive and highly visible orange. The chain is supplied in 25 m bags and is also a distinctive and highly visible black and orange.

- Wind tunnel tested to with stand a wind speed of up to 105 mph in accordance with the requirements of BS 6399-1.
- D-marc™ is classed as a form of collective protection in accordance with the HSE's hierarchy of risk management as set out within the working at height regulations 2005 (WAHR).
Components:
- Base: a 16.8 kg recycled rubber non-penetrative base.
- Upright: 950 mm-high trapezoidal construction, manufactured from 304 stainless steel with an orange powder-coated finish.
- Chain: 25 m bag of orange and black polyethylene chain.
- Connector link – split link used to join lengths of chain.
