Rockfon® MediCare® Block - High Performance Ceiling Tile

Stone wool tile encased within an airtight and watertight inert film.

Features and benefits:

• Class B sound absorption and B-s1, d0 fire safety.
• The high performance inert film provides enhanced durability and water-repellence.
• Hygienic; stone wool provides no sustenance to micro-organisms. This product adheres to microbiological class M1, fulfilling the requirements of Zone 4 (as defined by defined by NF S 90-351: 2013).
• Easy to clean; can be cleaned with vacuum, damp cloth, and dry steam cleaning.
• Resistant to disinfection using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour, with no impact on aeration time.
• Very good cleanability properties for most stringent cleaning methods.
• Chemical resistance classification of ‘Excellent’ with a range of detergents and disinfectants – consult manufacturer for details.
• Does not contribute to the growth of MRSA (ISO Class 2).
• Compliant to HTM 60.

Humidity resistance and dimensional stability:

• Dimensionally stable, even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH.
• No visible deflection in high humidity.

74%.

Demounting:

Rockfon tiles with A edges can be demounted.

Air pressure:

Due to its high performance film, combined with HDC2 clips (8 clips per 600 x 600 mm tile), it achieves an air leakage rate of less than 0.5 m³/h/m²/Pa under a pressure range of 5 to 40 Pa.

Emissions:

Awarded the Finnish M1 emission classification for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label for low VOC emission products.

A24: Use with Chicago Metallic T24 2890 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T24 A™ or Chicago Metallic T24 D2890 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T24 A ECR™.

Cleaning:

• Vacuum: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.
• Damp cloth: The surface can be cleaned using a damp cloth or sponge with a slightly alkaline detergent (pH between 7 and 9) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine (this may render the surface slightly shinier, so a thorough clean is recommended).
