Application

Suitable for use cleanrooms and laboratories in healthcare and industry settings.

Description

A mineral wool tile encased within an air and watertight inert film, specifically designed for use in high-risk, air pressure controlled environments where there are demanding sanitation requirements. CleanSpace™ Block has a high sound absorption (Class A) very low particle emission (ISO Class 2).

Features and benefits:

  • Resistance to stringent detergents and disinfectants, resulting in ‘Excellent’ chemical resistance classification.

Fire performance:

B-s1,d0.

Humidity resistance and dimensional stability:

  • Up to 100% RH.
  • No visible deflection in high humidity.

Hygiene:

Microbiological class M1 fulfilling the requirements of Zone 4 (very high risk) defined by NF S 90-351:2013. The particle elimination kinetics class conforms to CP(0,5)5 according to the norm NF S 90-351:2013.

Surface durability:

The high-performance inert film of CleanSpace Block provides enhanced durability and water repellence. The film contains DMAc (CAS 127-19-5) in a concentration ≥ 0.1% and < 1% by weight.

Disinfection:

Resistant to using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor disinfection with impact on aeration time. Can withstand and will not be affected by UVC and Ozone disinfection.

Clean room classification:

ISO Class 2.

Compatible edges, grids and systems:

Rockfon System CleanSpace T24 A, E.

Air pressure:

Suitable in areas where differential pressure is required to prevent infections from spreading. Due to its high performance film and combined with 8 clips HDC 2 (25 mm tile, 600 x 600 mm), it achieves an air leakage rate of less than 0.5 m³/h/m²/Pa under a pressure range of 5 to 40 Pa.

Cleaning:

The surface can be:

  • Cleaned with a damp cloth or vacuumed.
  • Dry steam cleaned (twice a year).
  • Low pressure foam cleaned (twelve times a year).
  • High pressure cleaned (only applicable for A-edge installation). Maximum 80 bar, min. 1 metre distance, water spread at 30° angle, maximum water flow 360 L/h. The tiles should be clipped into the grid.
